Hi, I’m Kim… A Business-Minded Creative Leader and Strategist based in California. I partner with founder-led startups, scaling companies, and experience-driven brands to solve their most challenging business puzzles through stellar, strategic design and multichannel marketing programs.
I pride myself on having a very eclectic creative background. I've been painting, drawing and crafting since I was old enough to walk, and I have been fortunate to work in a variety of fascinating industries during my career.
(Brand strategy and design, design thinking, consumer research/ focus groups, creative direction, art direction, package and structure design, display, video, digital, campaign, editorial, print, interior/ environmental, copywriting, illustration, and hand-lettering).
I have a BFA from Cal Poly SLO and 18+ years professional experience in brand strategy, conceptual design, establishing design systems, managing creative teams, agencies, freelancers, and cross-functional collaborations. In that time, I've directed end-to-end company branding and rebranding projects, coordinated cross functional teams and agencies, provided creative direction and art direction, as well as hands-on design for hundreds of consumer brands (from Bioscience, ultra premium brands, and CPG to health and tech). Collaborative team environments are "my jam". I love tapping into others' unique experiences to create captivating and relatable design solutions, and I thrive when I can bring my special brand of artistry, attention to detail, and innovation to my work.
